Disruptions to messaging on WhatsApp

    We've received reports of users not being able to send or receive messages on WhatsApp. This is an issue affecting all WhatsApp communications.

Some WhatsApp messages are not received by businesses

    This incident has been resolved on July 15th.

    We have identified that some of our WhatsApp businesses are not receiving some messages from their customers. The customer will see only 1 tick next to their message, and the business will not receive the message.

    The issue has been identified and fixed in a newer release by Meta.

    This affects some WhatsApp accounts hosted on an older version of on-premise solutions. We are working closely with 360Dialog to upgrade all of our impacted businesses to the newer version as quickly as possible.

Some disruptions to downloading media on WhatsApp

    Meta has announced that they fixed the issue on their end and downloading media should resume as normal.

    You may notice some contact messages are slow to show up in Rasayel. All messages will be processed, no messages will be lost.

Occasional issues sending messages on 360dialog

    The issue is affecting a very small portion of messages where the messages arrive as "Unsupported message type"

    We've isolated the issue to 360dialog's system, and escalated it to their Engineering team. We're currently waiting for feedback from their side.
